Index of Subjects
Index of Subjects The St. Peter's CBC took place on Dec. 27th under good viewing but rotten walking conditions. After compiling all the results, our total bird numbers are down, but the number of species is as good as we've ever had, thanks to a few rarities, and at least a few of all the expected finches except redpoll. Juncos were way up. Red-B. Nuthatches were absent!! Some good birds were: Snowy Owl (3) Sh. E. Owl, Red Phalarope, W. Snipe(2), R.W.Blackbird, N. Shrike, along with others such as Harlequin, Robin, Sw. Sparrow, N. Harrier, H. Merganser and Red Crossbill, which are still pretty nice birds. Billy
