With only = very preliminary results in and obvious gaps that should be filled we = have 91 species for the day. Anyone out yesterday will know what = conditions met us but it=92s over and done for another year despite the = difficulties. Thank you to everyone! Some of the highlights include no fewer than 7 Snowy Owls and all = between Hartlen Point and Rainbow Haven, a Short-eared Owl at Hartlen = Point, Saw-whet Owls at Salt Marsh Trail, a Cooper=92s Hawk in Dartmouth = (details will follow), Sanderling and Dunlin in the Lawrencetown, = Conrad=92s area and a few Dovekie at Hartlen. Yellow-breasted Chat, = Pine Warbler, Orange-crowned and Yellow-rumped were the only warbler = species still left after this stretch of weather. There was a = Lincoln=92s Sparrow, two White-Crowned Sparrows, (one in Halifax and one = still lingering at MacCormack=92s Beach), and a House Finch in Halifax.
