In fact I thought they were dead!! However when I nudged them= they jumped to another area. I did not follow them so I don't know what ha= ppened. Grasshoppers mate in the usual above/below position so supposedly t= hey were fighting but why at this late date?? =20 Incidentally your grasshoppers were Two-striped Grasshoppers.
