For those who missed it, go to pbs.org/nature/Earthflight/ (6
episodes, no. 5? coming up on Wednesday at 9 p.m., on Asia &
Australia, then pt. 6 on following Wednesday -- check TV listings.

You all know how keen I am on chimney swifts. Well, there are 90+
kinds of swifts in the world; check out the episode on South America
(superb photography, including from backs of flying/soaring birds
like condors, and good narrated content as well). Eventually they
get to the incredible Iguazu Falls on the border of Brazil and
Argentina, and they show hundreds of dusky swifts that somehow get
themselves through and behind the falling cascades to roost and nest
on ledges of the waterfall cliffs.

Cheers from Jim in Wolfville.
