Of note was the Solitary = Sandpiper still feeding in his tidal pool on the south side of the trail = where it emerges from the woods. A Juvenile Bald Eagle has taken over = the adult=E2=80=99s perch on the north side. There were also 50 Canada = Geese, ~20 Greater Yellowlegs, 1 Black-bellied Plover and a small flock = of ~50 Peeps wheeling about. In the apple trees there were 12 = Yellow-rumped Warblers.
