Hi all, Yesterday among incredibly tame peeps on the shore opposite Duncan Reef (yielding great pics even with my lame point-and-shoot) was an only slightly less tame Baird's Sandpiper. On the way home, from York Redoubt there were at least 38 gannets circling and diving between there and McNab's Island, which struck me as quite a few for that area. Cheers, Andy Horn Halifax
