The woolly aphids include many species that are gall-formers, and some true aphids are also gall-formers. Does Bernard know what the plant was for his photos? There are many many species in both groups, with very complex life cycles which often involve alternation of generations on different plants for single species. Cheers from Jim in Wolfville.
