In the early 1800s together they =20 demonstrated that the composition of the atmosphere did not change =20 with altitude, for instance. If what has become known as the huckleberry was discovered as a =20 European genus in the first place by v.H. et al., mutual respect and =20 friendship could explain how v.H. came to honour G-L in this way, by =20 naming the genus Gaylussacia. Does this sound correct?
