When I came home this evening there was a flycatcher calling overhead. Al=
l I saw of it was that it was very small with black along the chest area. =
There was a consistent what sounded to me like a fwee fwee fwee call very f=
ast and close together. It sounded like the bird was on something. It app=
eared to be too small for a pewee but it is a possibility if you take away =
the first part of the call. Dusty flycatcher came close to the call in reg=
ards to the last part of the call=2C but I could not find an exact match wi=
th listening to flycatchers as depicted on Cornell. It drives me crazy whe=
n I see birds or hear them and cannot identify them. I only saw the flycat=
cher fleetingly and could not get it in the binocs before it moved on furth=
er down the road. =20
