I notice that Bev W=E2=80=99s website of moths gives the = common name as Evening Primrose Moth, not just Primrose Moth. I did have = two or three photos of the Folly Lake moths on the Evening Primrose, but = they weren=E2=80=99t very in-focus, so I deleted them. These ones I = found about 6:00 p.m. or so, and they were so passive that at first I = wondered if they were dead. From: Jim Edsall=20 Sent: Saturday, August 03, 2013 4:54 PM To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca=20 Subject: Re: [NatureNS] Primrose Moths The identification is correct. This is a moderately common moth but = rarely seen except on Primrose flowers by day. It does not seem to be = attracted to light like many moths.
