Index of Subjects Dear All, July 30, 2013 Image of Psathyrella candolleana is at this link. http://www.flickr.com/photos/91817127@N08/ The presence white veil fragments around the pileus margin is characteristic. On the back lawn where for years I shredded all brush under 2 cm diam with a lawn mower. It now gets dressings of sawdust by chance. The best stands were near a Lilac hedge as it became overwhelmed by trees and died. This is edible but entirely without taste when fried with olive oil. Good when fried with 20/80.
