Hi, Liz is reading a book about New France, the late 19th C. settlement near Weymouth. There is a reference "last Sunday, shot a Richepone, a bird like a wild goose with beautiful plumage, and hard to kill because it is very cunning". I googled it and nothing came up. Anyone know what this was? Richard Stern Sent from my iPad
