It is P. obtusata = which in the Flora of NS by Zinck is Blunt-leaved Rein Orchid and not = Round. leaved.=20 I our original plan for the day, John was going to take us first to a = sample of Round-leaved Orchid he has seen in past years in Pictou Co. = and I think somehow the round stuck with me when I went to write up my = little journal of the day's trip. The Round-leaved Orchid will be = another day although I have seen it a few times previous to this. Sorry = for the confusion. I do not know why it is called a Rein Orchid.
