This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --Boundary_(ID_tMaKDq45N3I+EQKvBPSwGA) Content-type: text/plain; CHARSET=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT Content-disposition: inline I photographed the following moth in Cape Breton and I believe it is narrowed down to two possibilities. Depending on the lighting, it can appear to have a bronze or greenish hue with a rusty tail end, and the ringed antenna appear lighter at the tips and wider at the base. Internet photos that I've looked at seem to vary between two names. I was wondering if someone can tell me if this is a Large Clover Casebearer Moth Coleophora Trifoli or a Metallic Casebearer Moth Coleophora Mayella : http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Nature/insectsspiders-etc/797514_PQxc2P#!i=2625995905&k=2x9cD5S&lb=1&s=XL http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Nature/insectsspiders-etc/797514_PQxc2P#!i=2625995937&k=T5jVSpL&lb=1&s=XL http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Nature/insectsspiders-etc/797514_PQxc2P#!i=2625995951&k=8QVzjf7&lb=1&s=O http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Nature/insectsspiders-etc/797514_PQxc2P#!i=2625995979&k=c4cSWLR&lb=1&s=O Thanks in advance Bernard Burke Dartmouth --Boundary_(ID_tMaKDq45N3I+EQKvBPSwGA) Content-type: text/html; CHARSET=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable Content-disposition: inline =3CDIV=3E=26nbsp=3BI photographed the following moth in Cape Breton and = I believe it is narrowed down to two possibilities=2E Depending on the l= ighting=2C it can appear to have a bronze or greenish hue with a rusty t= ail end=2C and the ringed antenna appear lighter at the tips and wider a= t the base=2E=26nbsp=3BInternet=26nbsp=3Bphotos=26nbsp=3Bthat I=27ve loo= ked at seem to vary between two names=2E I was wondering if someone can = tell me if this is a Large Clover Casebearer Moth =3CEM=3EColeophora Tri= foli =3C/EM=3Eor a Metallic Casebearer Moth =3CEM=3EColeophora Mayella =3A= =3C/EM=3E=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E=3CEM=3E=3C/EM=3E=26nbsp=3B=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E= =3CA href=3D=22http=3A//bernieb=2Esmugmug=2Ecom/Nature/insectsspiders-et= c/797514=5FPQxc2P=23!i=3D2625995905=26amp=3Bk=3D2x9cD5S=26amp=3Blb=3D1=26= amp=3Bs=3DXL=22=3Ehttp=3A//bernieb=2Esmugmug=2Ecom/Nature/insectsspiders= -etc/797514=5FPQxc2P=23!i=3D2625995905=26amp=3Bk=3D2x9cD5S=26amp=3Blb=3D= 1=26amp=3Bs=3DXL=3C/A=3E=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E=26nbsp=3B=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E= =3CA href=3D=22http=3A//bernieb=2Esmugmug=2Ecom/Nature/insectsspiders-et= c/797514=5FPQxc2P=23!i=3D2625995937=26amp=3Bk=3DT5jVSpL=26amp=3Blb=3D1=26= amp=3Bs=3DXL=22=3Ehttp=3A//bernieb=2Esmugmug=2Ecom/Nature/insectsspiders= -etc/797514=5FPQxc2P=23!i=3D2625995937=26amp=3Bk=3DT5jVSpL=26amp=3Blb=3D= 1=26amp=3Bs=3DXL=3C/A=3E=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E=26nbsp=3B=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E= =3CA href=3D=22http=3A//bernieb=2Esmugmug=2Ecom/Nature/insectsspiders-et= c/797514=5FPQxc2P=23!i=3D2625995951=26amp=3Bk=3D8QVzjf7=26amp=3Blb=3D1=26= amp=3Bs=3DO=22=3Ehttp=3A//bernieb=2Esmugmug=2Ecom/Nature/insectsspiders-= etc/797514=5FPQxc2P=23!i=3D2625995951=26amp=3Bk=3D8QVzjf7=26amp=3Blb=3D1= =26amp=3Bs=3DO=3C/A=3E=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E=26nbsp=3B=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E=3C= A href=3D=22http=3A//bernieb=2Esmugmug=2Ecom/Nature/insectsspiders-etc/7= 97514=5FPQxc2P=23!i=3D2625995979=26amp=3Bk=3Dc4cSWLR=26amp=3Blb=3D1=26am= p=3Bs=3DO=22=3Ehttp=3A//bernieb=2Esmugmug=2Ecom/Nature/insectsspiders-et= c/797514=5FPQxc2P=23!i=3D2625995979=26amp=3Bk=3Dc4cSWLR=26amp=3Blb=3D1=26= amp=3Bs=3DO=3C/A=3E=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3E=26nbsp=3B=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3EThank= s in advance=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3EBernard Burke=3C/DIV=3E=3CDIV=3EDartmouth= =3C/DIV=3E --Boundary_(ID_tMaKDq45N3I+EQKvBPSwGA)--
