Numbers had stabilized at about 40 for a = couple of weeks, but I noted an increase tonight (July 9) to 71 so looks = like post breeding birds maybe be coming together before they depart for = the south in a few weeks. Over the next couple of weeks will be a good = opportunity to observe the swifts . Try for a clear evening and arrive = 30-40 min. before dusk. As far as I know, first birds went in at 8:55 = tonight (I arrived at 8:53), but most went in about 9:10 with stragglers = to 9:18. I will increase my reports every few nights if I can to give = people a better idea of numbers and timing.=20 all the best Ken ------=_NextPart_000_0047_01CE7CF0.357AD240 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.23501"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>Ken McKenna<BR>Box 218 Stellarton = NS<BR>B0K=20 1S0<BR>902 752-7644<BR></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>Hi all</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3D2 face=3DArial>It has been awhile since I sent in one = of my=20 Temperance St. school ( New Glasgow) Chimney Swift reports.
