Index of Subjects We had an incident on the farm several years back where I had put a carcass of a sheep on the "to burn" pile by the barns.... When I went out to check it.... very quiet... Starlings, sparrows and even robins we in retreat, but there was an adult bald eagle tearing at one end of the carcass, while at the other end, one of our kittens was trying to do the same. ... Did not appear to be any issues of competition.
