I regret to say I have not seen a Mourning Cloak since the Butterfly Atlas=
sing began.

=20

Yesterday I did see my first fritillary of the summer=2C a Great Spangled. =
Other than that just a few of the common butterflies. Not a good summer for=
them in KIngs County so far.

=20

Today along the RR bed=2C a number of Mustard Whites. The one I looked at c=
losely was the spring form where one would expect the summer form by now?? =
Also lots of N. Crescents & a fritillary that disappeared quickly.

=20

The flight period of the Tiger Swallowtail seems to be over. None the past =
few days.

=20

Lots of plants coming into bloom now so perhaps the butterflies will pick u=
p too.
