Very likely=2C Jim. As you're aware=2C I'm sure=2C Eiders make that mistake=
 so why not cormorants. However it did "land" so perhaps a bit smarter than=
 Eiders.=20

JUNE 30=2C 2013 - Pat & I were just pulling out of the Railtown parking lot=
 in Wolfville=2C adjacent to the Wolfville Waterfront Park & Wharf=2C when =
a double-crested cormorant flew in and landed on the paved road in front of=
 us! Then it walked around a bit=2C slowly=2C acted not afraid of its surr=
oundings=2C and then jumped up over the curb and walked toward the water (w=
hich was still 50 metres or so away from the bird). It didn't appear to be=
 injured in any way. Weather at the time was brightly overcast with occasi=
onal Sunny spells. Did the road look like water to it?

Cheers from Jim in Wolfville.
