About an hour ago I saw mother Spotted Sandpiper and two very fluffy chicks at L Torment, E Dalhousie, Kings Co. They were in a grassy, treed (poplars) area between the camp and the lakeshore where they have nested before. This area is left uncut until later in the summer. One good example of the benefits to wildlife of leaving areas uncultivated as long as possible. Nancy Sent from my iPhone
