--047d7b3441fe8e5eac04dc5a65fb Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Most people I talk to who have visited Keji Adjunct (generally happily) report seeing Black Bears. The bears do not seem to be after garbage and are usually seen at a distance apparently unconcerned with nearby humans. Why are sightings so common here? Is it a food source and/or a small resident population in the park that is not easily spooked? I rarely encounter bears in this type of habitat elsewhere.
