Hello All, Just returned from a walk on the Wellinton Dyke, 130+/- Canada geese landed on the corn field to the west of the paved road, none were neck banded, smaller or in any way different than our regular geese. As I was returning home I saw Richard Rand plowing a field on the north side of Starrs Point Road almost across from the Planter's Barracks. He was being followed by many gulls. Most of the gulls were ringed billed ~100, there was one all white Iceland (first year), a few Herring, three adult Lesser Blacked backed, and not one Greater Black Backed. On the Wellington Dykes I heard my first Savannah Sparrow of the spring. George Forsyth
