I have been feeling somewhat "guilty" about my carbon footprint to see Humboldt Penguins & other wildlife & landscapes in Chile & Peru, then read about the Caracara at Conrads. If I was home I would probably have joined the flocks of birdwatchers (hopefully in shared transportation), but I do wonder about birdwatchers' carbon footprints sometimes. In other words, is the carbon footprint bigger if a single birdwatcher goes to Mexico to birdwatch or a single Caracara goes to Conrad Beach?
