It = looked quite exciting last evening before the Moonrose. The best window = of visibility is between 8:45 and 9:30 p.m.. It is near the horizon . = Must be an unobstructed NW horizon, without bright lights; a must. ALSO = a pair of nicely focused binoculars. Once you know where it is , when = the sky darkens a bit you can pick it out with the unaided eye. I = stress again a clear, dark NW horizon, unobstructed from lights, tall = buildings and trees. This is important. Use binoculars. To aid in locating the comet, I made a diagram that can be accessed in = my Dropbox at the link that follows. You are free to download and print. https://www.dropbox.com/lightbox/home/Comet PanSTARRS# Over the next few nights it moves closer to the Andromeda Galaxy, shown = in my diagram. It too can be seen in binoculars. www.spaceweather.com gives more information. or just PanSSTARRS in = Google.
