They are actually quite common along waterfront/ stream areas throughout HR=
M,  including in the city as well.

Nice pelage.

Subject: [NatureNS] American Mink(?) spotted in Bedford

While walking along DeWolf park yesterday (Bedford, Mar17,2013) I saw what =
appeared to be an American Mink on the shoreline near a river outlet. I'm n=
ot 100% certain of the id having never seen one close up.
It had a long bushy tail which ruled out an Otter. Was about 70-80cm body l=
ength, long tail and had small ears.

Maybe this Mink came down the Sackville river and arrived here?
