There were several Bonaparte=E2=80=99s Gulls along the Salt Marsh Trail =
in Cole Harbour yesterday =E2=80=93 of note was one in almost full =
breeding plumage and one well on it=E2=80=99s way.  On the 6th of March =
there was a lone White-winged Scoter in the channel just north of the =
Aye, Ready, Aye bridge (3rd one from the Bisset Rd).

Over at Rainbow Haven, in the lagoon between the gun club and the beach =
house, there are two Common Loons that appear to have taken up =
temporary? residence.  They seem happy as the food source is quite good =
- crabs mostly.  They can be seen hanging around the Bailey bridge near =
the gun club.  There are also a number of Red-breasted Mergansers =
courting in the same lagoon.
