I repeat, classic weasel (or mink). Especially since a weasel was =
spotted recently, they kill primarily for blood hence the high body =
count and apparent lack of damage. Check for bite marks about the head =
and neck.

Raccoons are very hungry this time of year, but I don't see why they or =
anything would take so much in one night I'm intrigued.. I would =
definitely hook up a trail cam there for this evening. =20

Could a weasel do so much damage to that many birds in just one night? =

The coup is some ways from the house. Nobody in the family heard any =

Thank you for any thoughts as to what kind of predator could do so =
much damage overnight.=20
