I do find gull IDs challenging, but that is what makes it fun! Also at Sullivan's Pond this morning were 3 male Pintails, a pair of Gadwalls, 2 pairs of Red-breasted Mergansers, and 5 or 6 Common Mergansers. I also saw the Pintail x Mallard hybrid that Bernard Burke described earlier.
