Index of Subjects --20cf3074d24846c40204d62f3dae Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Hi Richard A few years ago I had the same success one night in my Hantsport back yard - except not only did they call back, the pair also flew very aggressively into my backyard looking for the interloper! One bird was within 3 feet of me when he finally veered up and over me, landing in a large pine in my front yard while the second did the same. Quite a start to have a big, angry, aggressive bird appear out of nowhere like that! Got a great look at them both though. Also I found three fledged and creeping GH owlets near a nest in mid April 2008. I guess they start early.
