--e89a8ff1c686d4bf8804d5c73052 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Birders, I am hoping to to use the listserve to gather information on Species at Risk. I just started a position as coordinator for a landbirds at risk stewardship project. We are hoping to get breeding data on the following species: Olive-sided Flycatcher, Canada Warbler, Rusty Blackbird, Common Nighthawk, and Chimney Swift. What is needed is any reports of the aforementioned species during the breeding season for 2011 and 2012. For better or for worse, we need the following details to accompany the report: date, lat/long or UTM, observer name and any comments, especially about breeding activity. I understand that getting exact coordinates for observations may be difficult but the effort would be greatly appreciated. For instance, if you didn't grab the coordinates originally, but remember the exact location and can use google earth or another program to extrapolate the coordinates, that would be awesome. Also note that if you submitted any observations of these species to ebird, the bird society, or any other project, I would still like to receive them. The exception is with Chimney Swifts. I'm not looking for roost counts but of presumed nesting birds, particularly any birds you have observed away from known roost sites during the breeding site. If in doubt, send me the reports regardless and include your thoughts as comments with the report. Please email them to me offline at this address. I greatly appreciate the time you spend to collect your reports and I'm sure the birds would thank you too if they could! Remember, I'm looking for reports from 2011 and 2012 only.
