Here are some of the DOW birds from the canso area that are not marked =
yet.=20

I'm sure they're a few more specie that will be noted in the next few =
days but not yet since Friday the 1st.=20

I was in a boat on Friday for a sail and easily picked up some of the =
water birds.=20

Common Loon - Canso Harbour (Canadian sp)=20

Red-necked Grebe - Canso Islands=20

Great Cormorant - Canso Islands=20

Double-crested Cormorant - Cape Canso Marina=20

Long-tailed Duck - Canso Islands=20

Black Scoter - Canso Islands=20

White-winged Scoter - Canso Islands=20

Glaucous Gull - Canso Islands and Harbour=20

Belted Kingfisher- Salmon River mouth Guys=20

Northern Flicker - Canso Cape on Seaweed=20

Horned Lark - Cape Canso Marina=20

White-breasted Nuthatch - 2 @ My feeders=20

Northern Mockingbird - 1 @ Sterling st. feeder and through out town=20

Clay-colored Sparrow- 3 @ My feeders since early Dec, I had 4 before the =
cold snap. They seem to have handled the cold fine!!=20

Song Sparrow - 3-4 @ My feeders=20

Swamp Sparrow - several @ Sterling st. feeder=20

White-crowned Sparrow- 1 imm @ My feeders since Nov=20

Dickcissel - 1 @ My feeders I had 3-4 before the Cold snap and seen at =
least one in trouble from the cold=20

House Sparrow- 35-40++ @ My feeders any one want a few??=20
