There was a 2nd yr. gull at Sullivan's Pond yesterday afternoon that had characteristics of both Glaucous and Herring, and was presumably a hybrid. This is a well recognized form sometimes known as Nelson's gull. I'll post a picture. It disappeared shortly after I first saw it. Richard Stern Sent from my iPad
