Hi all,

Coming from Moncton, I know that gulls are a common prey item for the eagles
that inhabit the area. I often found gull bones beneath nest trees scattered
amongst the muskrat bones. I've also been lucky enough to witness the attacks,
very similar to what was described here, it seems the gulls sometimes fail to
register the threat until it is too late and they are plucked from their perch.

Chris in Dartmouth now, formerly Moncton/Riverview area
