Sandra Selig has had this bird for two or three days feeding in two =
multiflora bushes at the front of her house. In spite of poor driving =
conditions Shirley Cohrs and I were able to check it out this =
afternoon.. We waited for about 40 minutes before it flew in. It did not =
feed, but was quite active and flitted about. It is a bright male and =
seemed fit.

It can be observed from the road and Sandra welcomes birders. Take the =
331 from exit 15 or 17. Exit off the 331 to Vogler's Cove Wharf, but do =
not go to the Wharf, take the road on the left, it is the second house =
on the right, #58. We waited for 40 minutes and finally it flew in and =
was quite active, but did not feed, and we watched it for ten minutes =
or so before it flew back in the same direction it had come from. It =
may be finding shelter in a large spruce a few metres along the road, on =
the same side as Sandra's house. She says this seems to be its pattern.
