This is exactly the information that's needed. All the best, Susann ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Paul MacDonald=20 To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca=20 Sent: Sunday, January 13, 2013 12:06 PM Subject: Re: [NatureNS] Reporting a Tagged Eider Hi Susann You could email "Laurin,Louise [NCR]" <Louise.Laurin@ec.gc.ca> and she will give you the address to send the band. When the numbers are worn it needs be read with a special = machine and she'll let you know where to send it. Just open the band and flatten it so it will go in an envelope. They will send it back when the process is finished, if he wants = it that is. Birds with worn bands are especially important because it is = perhaps 4 + years since it was banded. Randy Hicks at CWS in Sackville is also a good contact. I'm not sure of his email. Hope this helps Paul --- On Sun, 1/13/13, Susann Myers <myerss@eastlink.ca> wrote: From: Susann Myers <myerss@eastlink.ca> Subject: [NatureNS] Reporting a Tagged Eider To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca Received: Sunday, January 13, 2013, 7:05 AM I've had an email from a hunter in Cape Breton reporting a hen = Common Eider with a tag on its leg.
