Hi all:
=20
I completed data entry for the White Point Christmas Bird Count last night=
=2C which was held on Dec. 16. We ended up with 55 species with one subspe=
cies (Common Teal) and one sp. in count period for a red-bellied woodpecker=
. I did not see an option for entering count period birds with the data en=
try. I can't remember if this is just something that we do with the Nova S=
cotia Bird Society or not. Anyhow=2C highlights for our count were Red-thr=
oated loons=2C black-bellied plover=2C sanderling=2C an American woodcock=
=2C a ruby-crowned kinglet=2C a northern mockingbird=2C 28 yellow-rumped wa=
rblers=2C a pine warbler and a yellow-breasted chat.

Noteables were an all time low count for Canada Goose=2C American Black Duc=
k=2C Mallard=2C White-winged Scoter=2C Black Scoter=2C American Tree Sparro=
w=2C and Common Grackle. New birds for this count were black-bellied plove=
r=2C American woodcock=2C and white-winged crossbill=2C according to the re=
cords sent to Audubon. We had an all time high for a number of species as =
well=2C which were:  Song Sparrow=2C white-throated sparrow=2C and Northern=
 Cardinal. =20
