I would l= ike to share a story with you. Julia Gaudet from Brier Island sent me a story=2C with probably the prettiest picture of a Snowy Owl I have ever seen. A nice story with a very sad ending. Here it is:=20 On Nov 26 during a ride around Whippers Point Danny Gaudet (Julia's husband) came across the sighting of a female Snowy White Owl. A few days later the Owl was sighted at Southern Point where Danny was able to capture some close up photos of this magnificent white Owl. However he noticed it was having difficulty flying and became concerned that it was injured. During the day Julia kept checking on the Owl but noticed she wasn't moving from his snuggled spot in the rocks=2C and that he seemed unconcerned of anyone or anything near him. The following morning Nov 30th=2C Danny found the Owl dead on the shoulder of the road at Southern Point...so very sad to see a creature this majestic die...not sure what caused the death of this Owl. In the mean time=2C Julia and Danny are trying to make it legal through Natural Resources to have the Owl prepared=2C stuffed and mounted...Great story=2C and yeah so sad :( Have a nice day !!
