Index of Subjects
Index of Subjects The Wolfville CBC was held yesterday in cold and windy conditions. With about two thirds of the field observer reports in, we have 63 species, with 11 count week observations. Highlights are two reports of Chipping Sparrows (Medford and Greenwich), an Eastern Phoebe in the Gaspereau Valley area, two Rock Pigeons incubating eggs in nests, the Ruddy duck Jim reported in Wolfville, the Marsh Wren in Miners Marsh, Red bellied woodpecker, Orange-crowned and Pine Warblers. Observers in wooded areas found it tough to find birds, and there was a general impression that fewer people were feeding birds this year. Alison Bogan (compiler Wolfville CBC)
