Index of Subjects This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_0184_01CDCA75.8D1F8550 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi All, Nov 24, 2012 For those who have problems with Multiflora Rose spreading in their = yards may I suggest severe pruning/mowing while growth is active and = before September ? For plants that become too large to mow or prune by = hand use a chainsaw to work from the outside in. I cut 7-8 large plants = for our daughter in 2010 and most failed to regrow. Many of the plants suggested below will be gone by late December; = survivors being Canada Holly, Bayberry (only Crows ate our fruit for = about 20 years), High Bush Cranberry (Often with fruit until budbreak = so not a favourite) and Chokeberry perhaps. It would be interesting to see if birds presented with this menu but = also with MFR would shun the MFR.
