All: Whilst in Sydney o other matters, I took a swing over to Glace Bay, etc., this a.m. Found othing special with my dim eyes in Glace Bay, but I stumbled across a first-fall GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE grazing with a bunch on loafing gulls on the "Hawk Baseball Field" on the shore of Indian Bay, between Dominion and Gardiner Mines. Then I spotted a figure cautiously approaching the goose who seemed to be, and was, Nick Honig. He had been alerted by Allan and Cahy Murrant, who had found it not long before. So, I wasn't the first to find it, but I had a brief grasp of glory [:>(} . Cheers, Ian Ian McLaren
