I viewed in the general direction of the highway where it divides to go towards New Brunswick or Cape Breton an immense flock of starlings that were putting on quite an impressive aerial display that would have been much better appreciated by being seen in person or from a video clip recording. Nontheless, here are a couple of photos,mostly indicating the size of the flock, and I apoligise for the distracting power lines and such in the foreground</DIV></BLOCKQUOTE> <DIV>http://bernieb.smugmug.com/Other/recent-pics/916397_p25k9d/31/2225889734_ZWjcpFH/LargeFrom the same vantage point I also observed small flocks of gulls that were in pretty decent "V" formations.
