It was quiet at Miner's Marsh this morning. I arrived about 10:15, all water was frozen (~7C overnight) but the heat of the sun quickly thawed the ice. Outside of many people walking, the only activity was near the "No trespassing" signs; Kingfisher, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Cardinal pair. Less than the usual large number of Mallards (most flew out to the estuary no doubt) & a pair of G/W Teal. No sign or sound of the Ammodramus sparrow nor the Marsh Wren. Angus
