Lots of finches today in Sampsonville, Rich. Co., with goldfinches (12), w-w crossbills (10) and a single red crossbill, evening grosbeak and pine siskin, all taking turns on the niger and black-oil sunflower seed, along with r-b nuthatches, chickadees, blue jays and mourning doves. They were interrupted from time to time by a s-s hawk, which scared them more than anything. Billy
