Hi,

I went to Miner's Marsh to walk the dog this afternoon, a few minutes
before high tide. (And before I read James Churchill's post). Today is
apparently  one of the highest tides in the Minas Basin for 18 years, and
it's a 15.9M. tide (not quite as high as yesterday. Anyway, water was
pouring onto the trail from the swollen Cornwallis River, making it
impassible. Photo is here -

   taken just below the bridge. The turbulent water is pouring out of
the
river onto the pathway.

I did see my 1st Am.Tree Sparrow there this Fall, but no Ammodramus and no
Marsh Wren.
