Hi all
Guess 2 senior moments in a row!. Last message was for Charlie Kendell =
and not for the group, but here is my list from Big I. this morning Nov =
12.=20
At 10C, not as warm as inland, but there were some bugs about and I had =
to evict a bee from the vehicle. Heard a Peeper calling. A few hunters =
about so stayed close to the roadside. Nice to hear Red-throated Loons =
vocalizing and they were spread out along the Strait side of the =
causeway. The Dunlin have been present along the sandspit at west end of =
island several weeks not although down from a high of 60 or so. A Barred =
Owl pished out with chickadees and kinglets along Docker Rd. A deer =
along that road escaped being seen by hunters.=20
There was 2 largish flocks of Snow Buntings one over the saltmarsh and 1 =
at the west end sandspit. There are many more finches than my count =
reflects as they were constantly in the air, but often hard to see and =
identify.=20
cheers
Ken
