eaned ground fish around wharves</span></div><div sty Gary, look for mink droppings; they are extremely common along our waterways. They are tiny cylinders, maybe 5 mm wide. The animals deposit them at prominent locations such as the ends of floating logs and on rocks surrounded by water, presumably to mark territory. I have seen no mink, but many of their droppings earlier today while canoeing Hants County's Herbert River.
