We have a white breasted Nuthatch visiting the feeders when the raccoons leave them behind. We have totally lost a feeder and the hanging mechanism and they have destroyed two more. Both the downy and hairy woodpeckers are back. They are beating the daylights out of the big, unripe, Sunflower heads. A thrush was singing at my sister's this afternoon. She lives down in the estates. Also heard what I am pretty sure is Woodcock. Marg Millard, White Point, Queens http://MargMillard.ca
