--Apple-Mail-25--884076582 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed SEPT. 28, 2012 - Miner's Marsh in Kentville at noon-hour: a group of 8 roosting yellowlegs, mostly or all greaters; a single lesser yellowlegs active elsewhere in the marsh; lots of sparrows (mostly young song sparrows?) in the cattail edges, and warblers? in the trees, including a single black-and-white for sure -- the bright Sunlight made seeing features difficult (plus a bit of warbler neck); and 2 flycatchers actively foraging together from dead trees in the marsh -- these two flycatchers looked to me like eastern wood pewees?; and a single juvenile great blue heron, plus uncounted red- winged blackbirds (heard in cattails). Butterflies included just 2 cabbage whites and 1 clouded sulphur. SEPT. 29, 2012 - Yesterday I re-started my back-yard bird-feeding, after a few months of none. The chickadees & blue jays were right there as soon as any seeds were, and already now I have 5+ white- throated sparrows (migrants?) and 1+ imm. or female purple finch. Cheers from Jim in Wolfville. --Apple-Mail-25--884076582 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/html; charset=US-ASCII
<body style=3D"word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; = -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><div style=3D"margin-top: 0px; = margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "><font = face=3D"Arial" size=3D"4" style=3D"font: 13.0px Arial">SEPT. 28, 2012 = - Miner's Marsh in Kentville at noon-hour: a group of 8 = roosting yellowlegs, mostly or all greaters; a single = lesser yellowlegs active elsewhere in the marsh; lots of sparrows = (mostly young song sparrows?) in the cattail edges, and = warblers? in the trees, including a single black-and-white = for sure -- the bright Sunlight made seeing features difficult (plus a = bit of warbler neck); and 2 flycatchers actively foraging together from = dead trees in the marsh -- these two flycatchers looked to me like = eastern wood pewees?; and a single juvenile great blue = heron, plus uncounted red-winged blackbirds (heard in = cattails).
<div style=3D"margin-top: 0px; = margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal = normal normal 13px/normal Arial; min-height: 15px; = ">

<div style=3D"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; = margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "><font face=3D"Arial" size=3D"4" = style=3D"font: 13.0px Arial">Butterflies included just 2 cabbage = whites and 1 clouded sulphur.
<div = style=3D"margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; = margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 13px/normal Arial; = min-height: 15px; ">

<div style=3D"margin-top: 0px; = margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; "><font = face=3D"Arial" size=3D"4" style=3D"font: 13.0px Arial">SEPT. 29, = 2012 - Yesterday I re-started my back-yard bird-feeding, = after a few months of none.
