Hi all

I saw a Dickcissel ( yellow chest with no black) along the last section =
of road lined by conifer leading to the Caribou I. lighthouse this =
afternoon ( Sept. 22). There were 21 Ruddy Turnstones, 1 Spotted =
Sandpiper, 6 Semipalmated Plovers and 1 Black-bellied Plover on the bar. =
I was able to photo an Orange Sulphur and a Painted Lady there as well. =

At Waterside PP, 25 Gt. Blue Heron, 1 Gt. Yellowlegs, 3 Sanderling, 25 =
Semipalmated Plover, 9 Semipalmated Sandpiper,, 1 Dunlin and 100 =
Bonaparte's Gulls. I was able to photo an Orange Sulphur here as well, =
but no luck with documentation after flushing a fast flying Monarch.=20

There does not seem to be a big accumulation of gulls and gannets this =
year with the herring fishery unless I missed it.=20

cheers
ken
