This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_00B0_01CD9842.3FCC0090 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit A very birdy afternoon. Over thirty whimbrels, golden plovers, black bellied plovers, and a possible buff breasted sandpiper were enjoying an uninterrupted, golfer-free meal on the golf course which was closed due to the rain storm. The gulls made a big mess of feathers on the grass! Found two Baird's sandpipers on the kelps at the end of the old T-intersection. Others also there were semi-plovers, semi-sandpipers, few least sandpipers, ONE sanderling, a few white rumped sandpipers, and later ruddy turnstones. Out in the water, I could see 60+ seals' heads above the water. I have never seen them do that in sync at the same time?? At McCormack Beach, there was 1 pectoral sandpiper and 1 Dunlin amid 100+ semi-plovers, a few semi sandpipers, and one greater yellow legs. Checked Sullivan Pond and found a Great blue heron preening itself on the top of the old bridge support. Thanks to Gayle MacLean Also checked the Albro Lake to see if I could find those 'small ducks' Gayle' s friend found. No luck due to the fog. Cheers, Liz ------=_NextPart_000_00B0_01CD9842.3FCC0090 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" = "http://www.w3c.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/loose.dtd"> <HTML lang=3Den xml:lang=3D"en"=20 xmlns=3D"http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><HEAD><TITLE></TITLE> <META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3Dtext/css http-equiv=3DContent-Style-Type> <META name=3DGENERATOR content=3D"MSHTML 8.00.6001.19298"> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3D"Times New Roman">A very birdy afternoon. =20 </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3D"Times New Roman"></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3D"Times New Roman">Over thirty whimbrels, golden = plovers, black=20 bellied plovers, and a possible buff breasted sandpiper were enjoying an = uninterrupted, golfer-free meal on the golf course which was = closed due to=20 the rain storm.
