Index of Subjects I don't need hummingbirds. I have a suet feeder (cage) where I leave the suet in the plastic case and hang it upside down. The purpose is to force feeders to hang underneath it to feed. Chickadees and Downy Woodpeckers do it regularly. Recently though, a starling has learned to fly underneath it and peck at the suet while still on the wing. It does look like a giant hummingbird when it does it. Given that it looks like a runt, it's probably one of this year's crop. Mike
